HSI Battle of the Brains Competition
The annual HSI Battle of the Brains is a business case/hackathon competition, serving as a recruiting showcase of top talent from Hispanic Serving Institutions nationwide. Students engage in professional development workshops and network with sponsoring employers. The Office for Grant Initiatives and Partnerships sponsors the participation of a student team annually and works in partnership with UCF’s College of Business Administration and the College of Engineering and Computer Science to ready students for this experiential learning experience.
Florida HSI Consortium
The Florida Hispanic Serving Institution (FL HSI) Consortium aims to strengthen workforce development partnerships among all federally recognized HSIs in the State of Florida. Through capacity building, the exchange of evidence-based practices, and the collaborative pursuit of funding opportunities and other relevant partnerships, the FL HSI Consortium aspires to strengthen, scale, and accelerate social-economic mobility in the regions served by participating institutions.
