Purpose + Reach = Individuals Measured for Excellence (PRIME)

The PRIME STEM Project/Student Support Services is designed to increase the college retention and graduation rates of its participants and to assist students make the transition from one level of higher education to the next. Short for, Purpose + Reach = Individuals Measured for Excellence (PRIME), PRIME STEM is tailored to meet the needs of 124 students who are pursuing and will be graduating in STEM majors

Program Eligibility

  • UCF student (with at least 2 semesters remaining)
  • All STEM Majors
  • Completion of PRIME STEM Application
  • First-Generation, Income-Eligible, and/or Students with Disabilities

Nexus

Build the professional skills needed to pursue internships and career opportunities. Get support with resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn profiles, and career preparation.

Researchers

Gain experience beyond the classroom by exploring research and experiential learning opportunities, including job shadowing, research experiences, and clinical or volunteer hours.

Vanguard

Prepare for graduate and professional school with personalized guidance. Get support with personal statements, CVs, entrance exams, and application preparation.
