Building Exemplary Scholars for Tomorrow

Project BEST, which stands for Building Exemplary Scholars for Tomorrow, is a cornerstone of Student Support Services. This can be your next step to embarking on a transformative academic journey. This program is meticulously designed to bolster college retention and graduation rates, seamlessly guiding students through the intricate realm of higher education. It’s tailored to cater to the unique needs of 144 carefully selected ambitious scholars, regardless of their chosen major.

Our doors are wide open to first-generation pioneers, individuals facing financial constraints, and those with documented disabilities. This could be the opportunity to enhance your academic journey

Eligibility

  • UCF student (with at least 2 semesters remaining)
  • Completion of Project BEST Application
  • First-Generation, Income-eligible, and/or Students with Disabilities

Choose your pathway:

  • Ambassador Pathway (Leadership) – Our Project BEST staff help you develop leadership skills for campus and beyond. Additionally, Ambassadors can receive book scholarships of up to $600 per semester;
  • Grad Guru Pathway (Grad School Prep) – We collaborate with AAP & McNair to guide you through the graduate school application process; OR
  • Enterpriser Pathway (Entrepreneurship) – We partner with Blackstone Launchpad and provide you with tools to network and turn your ideas into potential business ventures.
