The Office of Military and Veteran Student Success is committed to your academic and professional success. We offer a multitude of services and resources to help launch your future career. We are an additional layer of support while at UCF. MVSC Peer Success Coaches assist with the development and implementation of your academic plans and support your transition to UCF. We also have access to many campus and community resources in the Central Florida area.

PEEr Success Coaches

MVSC Peer Success Coaches do not replace your academic success coach in your college/major.

Our Peer Success Coaches are dedicated to providing personalized support and resources to ensure a smooth transition into college life and academic success.

At the MVSC, we understand the unique challenges military-connected students may face, which is why our Peer Success Coaches are here to assist every step of the way. From providing valuable resources tailored to their needs to ensuring they are aware of their academic standing, our coaches offer direct support and guidance to help students thrive.

MVSC Peer Success Coaches assist with:

  • Providing prospective student admission information
  • Explaining how veterans educational benefits interact with your degree program
  • Understanding university policies and procedures
  • Providing advocacy for military connected students to include student veterans and military family members
  • Connecting student veterans to community and campus resources

We are available Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. via walk-in or scheduled appointments.  To meet with an MVSC Peer Success Coach email mvscpeer2@ucf.edu or give us a call at 407-823-1186.

Career Advising

Dedicated to working with student veterans and military-connected students, our Career Advisor can help you find the right major, minor, and even career. This includes learning how to gain professional experience in your field while you are attending UCF. Our career counselor can also assist you in finding information about employers, developing a successful resume, and practicing your interview skills.
