All Active-Duty, Guard, and Reserve members must contact their Education Service Officer (ESO) or Education Counselor before enrolling in any college or university.

Note: The Military and Veteran Student Success DOES NOT process TA paperwork for UCF students who are ONLY using TA during the semester. Your TA may not cover all tuition and fees for your enrollment. Students should be aware they will be responsible to pay any portion of their tuition or fees not covered by TA.

After You’re Admitted & Attended Orientation

If you reside or are stationed outside Florida, submit residency documentation with the Out of State Waiver.
Meet with your departmental/college academic advisor to review your program of study.
Register for courses in your program of study.
Complete your military branch tuition assistance voucher through its portal.
Submit your Approval Authorization Form directly to Third Party Billing at tpbilling@ucf.edu.

Education Dollars for Duty

State Tuition Assistance – Education Dollars for Duty (EDD)

This educational funding is for Florida National Guard soldiers and airmen. The Educational Dollars for Duty (EDD) program provides up to 100% public tuition for the period of the Guard member’s service once he or she becomes eligible, and as long as funding is available. Funds can be used toward a technical certificate, associates, baccalaureate or master’s degree. Unlike Federal Tuition Assistance (FTA), EDD pays the entire semester hour rate for tuition at all accredited learning institutions with “brick and mortar” locations in Florida.

Once approved for EDD please promptly submit your approval to Third Party Billing at tpbilling@ucf.edu or call Ms. Narene Lindauer at 407-823-2433
