MVSC Peer Success Coaches assist military and service-connected students successfully transition to the university. This is accomplished through connecting and educating students with available university and community resources; promote and encourage involvement in student clubs and organizations; and assist with the academic development of the community where additional help may be provided.

MVSC Event Specialists assist the MSVC professional staff with marketing strategies and programming needs.


School Certifying Official Assistants

School Certifying Assistants are our initial customer service representatives at the Military and Veteran Success Center.  Their primary responsibility includes assisting the university community with disseminating general information regarding veterans’ benefits and/or services, assisting veteran students and dependents with general inquiries about benefits via phone, email, and in-person, and maintaining and organizing veteran-related files.  These programs include but are not limited to Veteran Reeducation and Employment (VRE, Chapter 31), Montgomery GI Bill programs (Chapter 30 and 1606), Post 9/11 GI Bill (Chapter 33) and Dependent Education Assistance (Chapter 35).  They also perform office-related duties such as printing, scanning & filing, and participate in different activities to promote in-person and through social media the services and benefits offered in the Military Veterans Success Center.
